I attended Venice High School, Santa Monica College and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. After my
graduation I did an eight-month internship in Germany in the area of marketing (market research in the pharmaceutical
industry).
My business degree had an international focus because I like to have a good understanding
of a business situation from different angles. Since then I have taken a variety of additional college courses
in the area of marketing, computer programming and accounting. I pursued the marketing aspect of business
because it demands more of my intuition and creative abilities as well as knowledge of other cultures and languages.
My language skill -in order of proficiency are: Spanish/English, German, French.
In addition
to marketing, I have also been involved in the area of virtual library referencing first with the Metropolitan Cooperative
Library System in California and most recently with OCLC.
In 2011 I graduated from a master program at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin in the area
of library and information science.
Currently I'm doing an internship at the library
of the Theologische Hochschule Friedensau in Germany.
